Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter Are Going To Kill It in Boston

After today’s introductory press conference for Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter, I’m now more than confident that this team is going to be incredible next season.

Both players answered each question with confidence and said everything correctly. They explained why they chose the Boston Celtics in free agency and how important leadership and chemistry contributes to winning. And of course, there were a few jabs thrown at Kyrie during the press conference.

Hell, before the press conference even started, Kemba Walker was already at the practice facility getting a workout in. If that doesn’t prove to you how committed Kemba is to winning and bettering himself, then I don’t know what will.

Both Walker and Kanter are genuinely excited to be in Boston and playing for the Celtics. They’ve already formed a pretty cool friendship, considering Kemba Walker was the one who recruited Enes Kanter to play for Boston. By doing that, he made Kanter’s free agency decision much easier for him to make.

This may not be the team that can bring Boston banner 18, but like Wyc Grousbeck said after the press conference, this is a step in the right direction. The Celtics have a roster full of guys who want to work hard, compete, and win. This is an exciting time to be a Celtics fan because the team is going to be fun to watch again. They’re not quite up there with the elite teams, but they’re not too far back.

I have a good feeling about Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter in Boston. They’re ready to win now and compete for a championship right away. Exciting times are ahead for Boston.
