I won’t get into too much detail here, because the tweets above say it all. If any of these accusations against Jabari Bird are true, he needs to be cut immediately from the Boston Celtics. There is no tolerance for doing something so horrific in the NBA, or anywhere. Jabari Bird truly f’d up his career.
It’s such a shame, too. Bird has so much potential, and I often looked at him as a player who could handle valuable minutes off the bench for the Celtics. Hell, during the summer league I was one of his biggest fans. It’s sad seeing a player with so much talent and a bright future ahead of him potentially throw away his entire career like this.
And don’t worry about that last tweet. He won’t be traveling with the Celtics again. In my eyes, he shouldn’t be allowed back on the Celtics, the NBA, and quite frankly, should be put behind bars.
