One year ago today, March 3, 2016, I decided to start up my own sports blog DanteOnDeck. At the time I wanted to write articles for fun and talk about my love for sports. Never in a million years did I think that one year later my love for sports and knowledge of the sports I have covered would have grown as much as they have. One year later, I found what I love and what I want to do for the rest of my life. Writing articles is something I do in my past time and is something I now do not because I feel I have to, but because I genuinely enjoy writing so much.
Each time I write an article I push myself to write even better than my last. From time to time I read some of my first articles I’ve ever published and compared them to the ones I post now. I can’t believe how much I’ve improved my writing and knowledge for what I’m talking about when I write. Practice makes perfect, and I’ve learned that over the past year.
When I first started writing articles, I was expecting five views max on my posts. Knowing that some articles have surpassed 200 views blows my mind. Of course, there are some that were complete nonsense and collected only a few views, but knowing that more than half my articles surpassed 50 views amazes me. It’s times like that that really push me to keep writing and putting out articles for you guys to read. Without the support of my friends and family, my blog would’ve just been something that I did for a little bit and gave up on over time. But here I am writing a one-year anniversary post with a smile on my face knowing I have so many people that supported me over the year. Whether you read most of my articles or just read one or two, I am grateful for your support.
In other news, I plan on starting up my own website in the coming month! The success of my blog and support of the readers has motivated me to keep going and growing my brand, DanteOnDeck. Without the fans, I wouldn’t be writing this, and I’m hoping the launch of my website attracts more fans and keeps my biggest supporters around.
Thank you again to all the people that are reading this right now and have read my previous articles. Without your support, DanteOnDeck would be nothing. I hope I keep putting out material that pleases you guys and keeps you all coming back. Be on the lookout for the launch of my website, there may even be a giveaway coming soon! Once again, thank you for your tremendous support. I appreciate you all more than you can imagine.
